Today's party food is:
Compound butters Ok, this is not a party food by itself, but can be used in all kinds of party foods to add a little WOW factor. Read Frank's post about compound butters and I'm sure you'll get some great ideas.

3 THINGS I DID YESTERDAY:


  1. Organized the kitchen and washed the floor

  2. Went for a long walk with Rachel and the dog

  3. Installed more hooks to the overhang above the kitchen window and moved a bird feeder into view

3 THINGS I WISH I COULD DO:


  1. Go bike riding (don't currently have a bike and I'm afraid of bicycling in traffic, anyway)

  2. Whistle really loud with my fingers in my mouth

  3. Fly... like a bird, not in an airplane

Today's door prize are two sets of Printed Note Cards from a kids' art camp.
($15 value )

I love going to farm markets with handcrafted items. These note card sets were a project done by a kids' art camp and the proceeds from the sale of the cards help to provide scholarships for kids who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend this camp. These are printed on sturdy card paper and come with matching envelopes. The artist's name and age is printed on the back. I believe the lady at the craft booth said there are 5 cards with the same design in each pack. Today's winner will get both sets.
